Hello Earl, Sorry, I don't have anything on the first names of the ones you are looking for. I have the 1860 New River Census and scanning through it I see lots of Johns, Varnes and Renfroes. Do you have a birthdate for Kate? She was possibly born after 1860 given that she died in 1902. I think 1860 was the last year for New River. Check possibly Columbia and Bradford. Also, I have found some of my Prevatt's that were in New River in 1860 later on are listed in Alachua Co. so don't forget to check there. Sorry I can't help you more than that.
