I'm stuck in my work finding some relatives that lived in Hoboken or Carlstadt
from 1910 til at least 1940.
Here is my story:
Valdemar Classen-Smidth born 26. July 1887 in Copenhagen Denmark, Immigrates in 1911
to USA. 14th of Feb. 1913 he marries a German girl Lucie Elfride Stapel
born 12th Dec. 1892 in Strasburg.
They get a daughter Lucie Dagmar Classen-Smidth on the 28 Oct. 1915 in Hoboken,
NJ. she married on 31st Aug. 1940 to Gustav Eduard Nilian born 13. Oct.
1912 in Panama City, Bay Co. FL.
On 23. Oct 1918 they get another daughter: Evelyn Ann Classen-Smidth born
23. Oct. 1918 in Hoboken NJ. Maried 31. Aug.1940 to John Short born 24 June
1914 in Mount Carmel. (This person could be the John Short who died 10.
Nov. 1994 in Rutherford, Bergen County, NJ.)
They get a third daughter Anita Yvonne Classen-Smidth born 4. Aug. 1921
in Carlstadt, NJ. Married 20. April 1940 to Frank Joseph Natoli born 27.
Oct. 1911.

This is all I know
Best to you
Tom
