Hi...just wondering about one of the siblings you listed for Andrew Chancey...My grandfather is Edmund Sylvester Chancey, 1st child of Joshua Reid Chancey, the brother of Perry, and he was born Feb 24, 1873. The 1870 census for Manatee county FL lists an infant for Perry, 1 year old. This may be a child that died early, and when Joshua had a son in 1873, he named it Edmund, honoring his living father, and his brother's deceased son...

The 1880 Manatee census shows Perry's children were Mark, age 10, Luke, age 8, John, age 6, Mary, Andrew, and Ca(o?)ddington. I've seen this on the archived, not transcribed page, at http://archive.org/details/10thcensusl0130unit.

Regards...Chris Chancey
