Hello again, Judy...well, well..well, Now I know who Dania 'Dorie*' F. Byrd was. *or was it Donie?.

Yes ma'am, I certainly do know who Andrew was. He was born Andrew Marion Lafayette Chancey November 06, 1877 in Cleveland, Charlotte County , Florida to Perry Yulee Chancey and Jemina Byrd.

Now, I had his brother as 'Tiney' rather than Triley, and this was guesswork on my part because of several Christopher 'Tiney' Chanceys in and around Pierce County Georgia. Do you know for certain the name was Triley?..the census transcription I found online only had T...y in it, and I suppose the transcriber couldn't make it out, and I just assumed 'Tiney'.

Andrews other siblings were:
James Mark Yuley Chancey b. September 30, 1869 m. Eliza Jane Nobles (Widow)
Lula Chancey b. 1871 m. David Jimson
Edmund John Chancey b. February 24, 1873 m. Unknown
Mary E Chancey b. 1875 m. Unknown
Philip Casuel Thomas Chancey b. January 1880 m. Nancy Jane Keen
Matthew Isaiah Franklin Chancey b. November 01, 1883 m. Annie C Smith (Widow)
Perry Alonzo David Chancey b. January 11, 1885 m. Bertha Carroll
Doyle Chancey b. Unknown m. Unknown
Tiney or triley Chancey b. January 1891 m. Unknown

Elizabeth Malentha Chancey was a daughter of Edmund Lafayette Chancey and Margaret Stephens. They were the parents of Perry Yulee Chancey, Andrews parents. So, we have come full circle for this one.

Thank you for the fills for the Boyd family...little by little, we can make all of the pieces of the puzzle fit.
