Dear Judy,
I have been in contact with a decendent of William Bee Peacock, a son of Henry and Nancy Peacock. This person (whom I am not at liberty to name.) has documented proof of this line of Peacocks. Having researched conclusively in order to obtain CSA decendents membership.
Here is the generation for Henry Easterling Peacock, his decendents, his two wives, Nancy Hunter and Sophia Jane Lee.
Note first: It appears Sophia Jane Lee was 17 years younger than Henry, and deserted him for another man, to raise the children himself. My contact does not very think well of Sophia, and relates that she later went off with other men as well. Also, do not be concerned that Nancy Hunter was born in Appling County, and married in Ware County. Ware County was created on December 15, 1824 from Appling County.

1. HENRY EASTERLING4 PEACOCK (JOHN3, REV. ISHAM2, SAMUEL1) was born Abt. 1822 in McIntosh County, Georgia, and died Abt. 1894 in Manatee County, Florida. He married (1) NANCY HUNTER February 03, 1842 in Ware County, Georgia, daughter of JOSEPH HUNTER. She was born Abt. 1819 in Appling County Georgia, and died September 1862 in Hamilton County, Florida. He married (2) SOPHIA JANE LEE August 29, 1865. She was born Abt. 1839, and died in Probably Florida.
