CAN'T REMEMBER ALL THE PARTICULARS ON THIS, SINCE I CAN'T FIND MY NOTES AT THE MOMENT.
ANYWAY, ONE OF THE STROBLE/STROBEL BROTHERS LIVING IN ALACHUA CO. WAS MARRIED TO A PENDARVIS & ALL WERE ORIGINALLY FROM COLLETON CO. S.C. I REMEMBER THAT THE PENDARVIS WIFE HAD A BROTHER & A COUSIN PENDARVIS LIVING ALSO IN ALACHUA CO. ONE OF THEM WAS JAMES PENDARVIS, BUT DON'T REMEMBER IF THAT WAS THE BROTHER OR THE COUSIN.
FLORIDA DIDN'T BECOME A STATE UNTIL 1845, FIRST CENSUS I KNOW OF IS THE 1850 CENSUS.
