There is a Jessie CARTER on page 208 of Ancient Record Book Deed Book A. There seems to be a Jackson J., I.J., William, and Jesse Carter in Commission Minutes Book 1. Jesse also appears in the Probate administration file of John Underwood. In the "Soldiers Intitled to aid" there is an I.J. Carter married to Sarah Ann with children Jesse, William, Silas, John, Mary, James, Martha, Eddy.
