Marie Fitzwilliam, a Ph.d teaching history at the College of Charlestown in South Carolina, provided the following - "My paternal great-grandfather moved from England (place unknown) to Trinidad, West Indies. His son, Oliver Fitzwilliam, my grandfather, practiced law in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad in the 20's and 30's. My father, Neil did too, in the 40's and 50's. My fathers brothers are Ivan Fitzwilliam( a priest in California) and Peter, (a lawyer in Trinidad). My father emigrated to Barbados in 1963 and had six of us Fitzwilliams. My brother, Michael, is now a lawyer in Bridgetown, Barbados with two sons. Except for me, all other siblings have given up their maiden name, though my twin has hyphenated it to her married name (Ann Fitzwilliam-Reitbauer) of Frankfurt, Germany. I moved to the USA in 1979 and have lived in Salt Lake City, Columbia, Mo. and now in Charleston" This reply was in response for genelogy information I sought.
