Odsather of 54 Hi, I am very surprised to come across my maiden name of Fitzwilliam on the Genealogy site - this is excellent. Now, I am living in New Zealand, and my fathers name is Brian Lawrence Fitzwilliam DOB 1931, and my grandfathers name is Bernard Fitzwilliam not sure of his date of birth, but it must be around the early 1900's. I was always told, our ancestors were from Germany, and after WW2 the surname Fritzwilliam, was then changed to Fitzwilliam. Any info. would be greatly appreciated!!
