Dear Pat
So nice to hear from you. Yes, my mom did live in Brecksville, where she was raised by her grandparents, Anna and Myron Fitzwater. I am almost certain that she spoke of a friend named Beatrice.
She would have loved to have reconnected with your mom. Unfortunately, my mom passed away August 17, 2003, after a very courageous battle with cancer.
If you have any memories that you would like to share, please e-mail me. I live in Toronto,Canada, with my husband and two daughers. A great city, but I missed out on spending more time with mom, who lived in Hudson. I am an only child and mom and I were very close. She was also the only grandparent so her passing was difficult on us all. Memories are precious. Thank you for getting in touch.
