My line follows:
My great grandmother was Sabrina Catherine Fitzsimmons born 2-22-1862 Jefferson Co, PA.
Sabina's father was Richard Fitzsimmons born 8-12-1836.
Richard's father was John Fitzsimmons birth, death, etc, unknown.
Ancestry.com shows several brothers and sisters including listing two Sabinas. Either the first Sabina
died early and they named the second girl Sabina also or this is an error. Her gravestone shows birthdate of 2-22-1862. She is buried in the Hunter family plot in Payette, ID.
It does show she had a brother Thomas but according to Ancestry.com he was born 9-5-1872.
I am always unsure how much stock to put in the records we find without documentation.
Even Sabina's obituary in the newspaper spelled her name wrong and had her birthdate wrong so I am going by her gravestone.
I have only John Fitzsimmons and Eliza Tweedy's names in that generation. I have birth, marriage and death dates for Richard and wife Margaret Simpson.
I have a fairly complete history on Sabina Fitzsimmons and her husband Elmer Ellsworth Hunter and their children.
Where is Gallitzin, PA located. My ancestors were all from the Corsica, PA area in the north west corner of PA along the I 80 corridor.
