William, her brother, was born on 25th Jun 1895 at 64 Hilltown, Dundee. Father, Patrick, was a ship rivetter. He'd married William's mother, Mary Ann, in October 1888 in Brechin.
In the 1901 Census, Mary Ann, age 29, is living with her mother (another Mary Ann but NOT named Pickett) at 19 James Street, Dundee. Children are Patrick (10), Rose Ann (7), William (5) and Hannah(3).
Much of the following information on William is on-line at the site: Dundee and the Spanish Civil War at http://groups.msn.com/DundeeandtheSpanishCivilWar
