Fitzsimmons Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Patrick-- I am still researching my Fitzsimmons lineage. My grandfather came to America as an Indentured to pick tobacco in TN. He was from Kerry. When he finished his servitude he was given a new more "acceptable" AMERICAN name of Simonds...along with 5 acres of land from the tobacco farmer. I have verified our Irish ancestry, but NOT the American side! I would love to know any information you might have, and I will gladly share what I know! I was taught to speak "the Irish" by my grandfather too, so as "Niver ta loose the KNOWIN of home." Slan Beo!
