My FITZSIMMONS may have come from this area of Ireland and I am looking for researchers that might have some information that might help me. I am told there are 120 townlands in Nethercross so I really don't know where to begin. My Fitzsimmons were Walter (b: unk), Louida born 1808 IRL, Margaret born Dublin 1839, Maria, Ellen and Elizabeth born after Margaret. There were probably male siblings for these girls and possibly more sisters. The most helpful gal checking the Griffith Valuationand the Tighth Applotment books says there is one one entry for FITZSIMMONS in Nethercross with dozens for the FITZSIMMONS spelling.
