I'm researching Thomas Fitzsimons for the Dictionary of Irish Biography; I too would like info. on his parentage. Have you seen the long article on him in the 1938 volume of the Irish periodical 'Studies'? It says his father's name appears in a church building list in Philadelphia, [St Mary's] but it doesn't give the name.I wonder can this subscription list be accessed anyhow? Most sources say he was from Tubber, in co. Wicklow; one says he was from North of Ireland. You have Edenderry; which is most likely? Linde Lunney
