I am also looking for a Patrick Fitzsimons (spelled differently). My great-great grandfather came from Ireland in 1868, went to Notre Dame in 1871 and withdrew in 1876. He was from co. Meath. He had a father Patrick H. and a mother Ann Clark. In 1871, Patrick had passed on, but mother still alive. He also had three bros. and two sisters. I have no clue what their names were. I've come to a dead end on their names and where they were. He moved to IN and married a lady, Hannah Mahoney, in 1887. Maybe there's a connection. Let me know. We're having a family reunion Sunday. We have three children that are still here from Patrick's son. None are in the best of health and we wanted to give them a special treat by showing them info. on their family heritage. Thanks for your help.
