Fitzsimmons signer of US Constitution

Thomas Fitzsimons or Fitzsimmons signed the US Constitution for Pennsylvania, but there is no portrait of him. In the early 1970s, I remember a story on the US newspaper wire services near St Patrick's Day said a probable portrait had been found. I can't find my copy of the story with the portrait, but it was done by a famous portrait artist of the day (can't remember his name) who did George Washington, among others.

Also, there is a "Memorial to Thomas Fitzsimons: Merchant-Patriot-Statesman Prepared by Daniel J. Dougherty, LL.D., and published by the Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick For the Relief of Emigrants from Ireland. Philadelphia, 1946."

I haven't read Dougherty's memorial, but have only a copy of the cover page.
