The brothers Patrick (born about 1800 in Ireland) and John Fitzsimmons allegedly came from Dublin. They settled in McHenry Co. IL in the mid 19th century. Patrick may have spent time in upstate NY, as he married Hulda Huffman, whose parents had lived in upstate NY (married in Auburn, lived in Cayuga Co.), before moving to McHenry Co., IL. The times and names and places in your posting suggest many similarities, and so I wanted to check whether there may be any connections.
