Owing to a mis-understanding (mine!), our family is NOT related to the Fitzsimmonses. It was my paternal great-grandfather's assertion - so I believe - that we may have been related somewhere along the line, because of the similarities in our surnames. And THAT, I'm afraid is as far as it goes. I have since found my great-grandfather's family in SURREY, UK. However, I have carried out extensive research as far as the Fitzsimmonses in Cornwall (and elsewhere) are concerned and will e-mail you directly (with your permission) if you have continued interest.
