THOSE COMING AND THOSE GOING
A. L. ACKERLY and family returned to their home in Leon, Monday, after spending a few days here visiting Mrs. Ackerley's mother, Mrs. M. WALKER at the home of Mary BANTA.
Andrew ANDERSON left here Saturday for Chicago with a car of cattle belonging to Anderson Bros. He returned Wednesday.
Mrs. F. M. FITZPATRICK of Centerville arrived here Friday for a visit at the home of Prof. T. J. Fitzpatrick. Her daughter Nellie is attending school here this year. Mrs. Fitzpatrick returned home Monday.
Miss Emma KEOWN of Milo, Iowa, came in Saturday to visit with her sisters, Mrs. Etta MARTIN and Miss Ola KEOWN. Miss Jessie REID, a cousin of the latter, accompanied her.
Clarence SKINNER came down from Des Moines last week to spend a few days with his family and with other relatives and friends. He returned Monday.
A. J. HUNT of Henry county, Mo., arrived here Tuesday night to visit at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. H. WHITE.
Mrs. Elias HAYER of near Seneca, Illinois, arrived here Tuesday morning for a visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. D. MOORE.
Martin LOVE went to Kellerton Wednesday on business.
C. H. CUDNEY is in Mount Ayr this week installing the heating plant in Bert TEALE's new residence.
Mrs. Columbus SCOTT went to Davis City, Tuesday to visit at the home of her sister, Mrs. Carter SCOTT.
Elder Heman C. SMITH went to Nauvoo, Illinois, Tuesday.
Mrs. B. W. LANNING and sons Arthur and Ralph returned to Leon Tuesday. They had been visiting at the home of W. G. SWITZER.
W. H. CLUM went to Davis City Tuesday on business.
W. E. and W. T. SHAKESPEARE returned from Centerville, Monday where they had been in the interest of the Religio and Sunday School organizations.
Jay LAMB went to Mount Ayr on business Wednesday.
Mrs. W. H. BLAIR returned from Independence, Mo., last week where she had been visiting relatives and friends.
