Sir Gerald Fitzmaurice, International Court

This man was alive in 1973, and also around in the 1940s, as evident from his academic record. How is he connected to the Foreign Office's Gerald Henry Fitzmaurice CMG (d 1939)? According to the Kluwer website he was G.G. Fitzmaurice.

I would suspect that he is somehow connected to the Gerald Henry Fitzmaurice who was in Turkey etc. And as a Judge of the International Court of Justice, he is certainly fit to be added to the Fitzmaurice website (an excellent summary of what is known, by the way).
