Spotted in the Brooklyn Standard Union obit of Oct 24, 1918. I hope it helps someone. Francis FITZGIBBON, born in the Twentieth Ward June 22, 1888, son of Michael J. and Catherine FITZGIBBON, died yesterday after a brief
illness of pneumonia. He had been a life member of Sacred Heart R. C. Church, where a mass of requiem will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. He was a graduate of P. S. 12 and was engaged in the horseshoing business with his father in the Wallabout section. He was a member of
Eagle Council, Journeymen Horseshoers and Seneca Democratic Club. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his widow, Mary ATLEY FITZGIBBON; two daughters, Florence and Marion; two sons, Edward and Gerald; three sisters, Mrs. John CANNING, Mrs. Joseph CASTOR and Clara FITZGIBBON, and one brother, Joseph, now at Camp Upton. Interment in
the family plot at Calvary Cemetery under direction of William DUNIGAN & Son, 201 Park avenue.
