Jeremiah- i am related to the Fitzgibbon family from 2 sources john Fitzgibbon [born 1849] married Nora O'Regan [born 1845 ]in Kilfinane Parish on Feb 22 1887. nora was the sister of my great great grandfather John. also Jeremiah Fitzgibbon[son of Patrick and margaret Fitzgibbon] was the nephew of John. he married the sister of my grandfather Joseph Regan. Her name was Catherine Regan she was born in 1892. they had children Ciss,Mona Creina and John and Mamie [she married a Frank Bell]. Jerry[Jeremiah] and Catherine operated a publick House on the Ardpatrick Road at what i believe is known as J-Cross. the Publick House is now owned by Norman Hepher and is known as Norman's Bar. i have a lot of other information on the family so feel free to contact me off line i would be glad to hear from you.
