I am researching my mothers maiden name, Fitz. My ggg-grandfather John Fitz (1787-1844) moved to Belmont Co., OH, in 1811, and then to Muskingum Co., OH, in 1817. John & his wife Elizabeth Dunn (1784-1865), lived in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Ohio. They had 12 children, 10 were born in Ohio. His father Henry Fitz, and wife Jane, had at least eight children.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have information on descendants of Henry & John Fitz. I will share information that I have.
