I am also doing research on the Fitts family out of Halifax. My family name had changed over a ten year period from Fitts to Fittz to Fitz. I just started this line. I will post a line as soon as I get all the information from the Va State Library. My Grandfather was William Howard Fitts/Fittz/Fitz. I am now looking for his parents. I know they were from Halifax county. If I run across a Tandy Walker Fitts along the way I will trie to write down the information.
