Pat,
The Roster of Soldiers of The Tennessee Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution lists the following:
John Fite - Born April 1, 1758, Greenwich Township, M.J.; Died Feb. 18, 1852, Liberty, DeKalb Co., Tennessee; Married 1785, Martha Haslet.
John Fite served as Private and Wagoner in New Jersey Troops under Captain William White, James Anderson Mackey and David Phillips, and Col. A. McKinnie and John Van Vleet. (See Pension Certificate No. 7111, issued under the Act of June 7, 1832. He resided in Sussex Co., New Jersey during the Revolution.
