I am a direct descendent of Johannes Fite(Vogt). He came to this country with two of his brothers, Henry and Peter from Hesse-Cassel Germany. His wife's first name was Catherine, they are said to have been married on the "Ship Anne", which brought them here. According to family tradition they somehow lost all their belongings and were sold into indenture when they arrived in Philadelphia, 1749. Have lots of info and willing to share.
