Thanks for responding, Barb. I hope to get to the Pickaway County Gen. library for some more research. I'm largely interested in pictures of the town that would depic the old village. I have a picture of John and his wife published from the society and I have the article on Joseph Fissel from the Pick. Co. "Quarterly" magazine of the historical society. The picture they used was from a Darbyville family that I know and different from the one on the website. I believe little Joseph's drum in on display at the Pick. Co. historical museum, also. I have a picture of the Fissell home in Darbyville that appears to have been taken 1890-1900. My grandparents lived in the house ca. 1930.

Thanks for your info and connecting with the Fissell family.
