Pat I think that I may know who your Cornelia is. I have some data on a Cornelia who was the daughter of Charles Augustus Fiske and Mary Healy.
Charles and Mary had 6 children according to my records but I don't have many specifics other than names. I do show that this Cornelia's mother Mary (Healy) Fiske supposedly died in St. Louis abt. 1878. That places this family in the St. Louis area in the midde of the 1800's and Charles Augustus Fiske was born in Massachusetts in 1807 but his wife Mary was reportedly from New York and born in 1814.
I know from personal experience that just because your census data says that Cornelia's parents were born in New York and Ireland doesn't necessarily make it true.
I will look and see if I can find anything more but I like the fit so far, I would rate this as a very good possibility for Cornelia's parents.
