Wendy,
I found two more children of William's, this time with his 1st wife Louis(e) Ashcroft.
Aaron Alonzo Fisk, b. 26 Feb 1810 in Northfield, VT. and
Lucy Fisk b. 2 Oct 1812 also in Northfield, VT.
I know that Aaron's birth is just 3 mos after his parents were married but the record clearly states his parents were William and Louis Fisk.
Also, I have changed the first name of "Louise" to Louis because every record I have seen says her name was Louis not Louise, so I no longer think this was a typo but her actual name.
As for the birth date being so soon after their marriage, it doesn't seem that unlikely to me. Louis was after all, only 19 when they married while William was 31. It has the earmarks of a shotgun wedding if you ask me...lol.
Of course, it is also possible that the year of birth was incorrectly listed, as many times the record wasn't recorded until several years later or was taken from a family Bible or other source, rather than an official document.
Still diggin'

P.S. There is an Aron Fisk who lives in Cheshire Co., NH, in the 1790 census. This is the reported birth county of William Fisk, so it isn't unreasonable to think he may be William's father. Obviously, more research needs to be done but it is a place to start.
