I'm trying to piece together what I can and so far I see that Dyer Fay Burnham was the son of Elias and Emily Burnham of Scotland Ct.
I do not see Dyer with his wife and child in 1860 even though Ida Luella Slocum Burnham was born to he and Lydia in 1857.

I see that Lydia was still alive in 1890 when she applied for a pension for Dyer who I believe died in 1879?

So I am still digging and as I said, the more we have the easier it is to help you find what you do not have.
