Mrs. Grace A. Hopkins Fisk, 79, died early yesterday at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. Harvey Skinner after an illness of a few weeks.
She was born in Clayville, Sept.13, 1850, daughter of Darling and Betsy Colegrove Hopkins and had spent her entire life in the area where she was widely known. She was a practical nurse which took her inti many homes in the vicinity. She obtained her education at the Old Sauquoit Academy.
A member of the Cassville Baptist Church on Feb. 18, 1879 she married Chester H. Fisk. of Woodhull, Steuben County who survives with the daughter Lillian Skinner and one son Warren H. Fisk, Chadwicks also four grandchildren Warren and Gertrude Skinner and Herdman and Grace Sweenburg of Oxford. She will be buried at the Sauguoit Valley Cemetery.
Not in the obit but Grace had a twin sister named Gertrude Hopkins who died at Grace and Chesters home after a long illness.
