The minuteman who died at the well was Hayward of Acton Ma. He died in the arms of my 5th Grandmother Rebeccah Howe. She was Jane's brother Benjamin's wife.

As for the Hadley's, it's funny you should mention them but I sometimes work in Lexington, doing electrical service connections for a local utility, and when I was assigned to the street light division, the guy in charge was Allen Hadley. He was born and raised in Lexington. We chatted but did not discover a common link. We are sure there is a link between my Fiskes and his Hadleys but he wasn't descended from Josiah. Which made sense because Josiah and Jane apparently left Massachusetts while his branch never even left Lexington.

As for the Inn I had heard of it but I have not seen anything that would indicate where it was or what happened to it.

Bob
