Hi Bob, I assume you knew about the monument at the Ebeneezer Fisk farm where a colonial and a British soldier met coming from the well and shot each other and they both died. I am descended from Ebeneezer's daughter Jane (Mar 21, 1733-Jan 17, 1819. She married Josiah Headley (Hadley) May 5, 1731) on Feb 13, 1753. He is considered a Patriot because he and his wife ran a tavern on the road to Boston where the colonials met. I also saw somewhere that she is considerd a Patriot also because her involvement at the tavern. I have not been able to find out more about where the tavern was and if she is considered a Patriot. Have you ever had any information about the tavern or Jane? I am also descended from Hannah Fisk (Jan 24, 1733/4-Jun 11, 1805) from Middlesex, MA, who married Caleb Hill (Aug 17, 1736-ca1778) from Sherborn, MA. He is also a Revolutionary soldier. Her parents were John Fisk IV (May 8, 1709-Jan 9, 1754) from Sherborn, MA and his wife Abigail Leland (Badcock) (May 5, 1704-Mar 7, 1761). I have information on about 8 more generations for John Fisk IV. I had another line that I have not been able to find out any information on and as far as I know there is no connection to me. I am from Kenosha, WI and our family plot was purchased in 1850 and about 50 feet away is the Curtis Johnson grave. He is the one that started Johnson Wax and later it was moved to Racine about 10 miles north. Anyway his wife was Caroline Fisk and they were married in Kenosha. Her parents were Sereno Fisk (Feb 21, 1802-Sep 22, 1887) from Weston, MA. His wife was Lucinda B. Fisk from Dudley, MA. Have you ever seen anything on these. Thanks for your information and if I can help you in anyway let me know. Ralph Notify Administrator about this message?
