It was a typo, Robert, the date is supposed to be 1751, not 1791. What I get for not proofing before sending. There is apparently a close relationship between the Fisks and the Whitneys, but not sure if it's familial or friendship. Doubt that they could have both married the same woman, though! A Samuel Fisk in 1770, Watertown, Mass. was appointed as a guardian to the children of Israel Whitney.
