Trying to establish lineage for Abner Fisher born September 1820 Burke County, North Carolina. He married Sarah C. Warlick on 23 February 1847 in Burke County, daughter of Peter Warlick and his first cousin Mary Warlick. Abner and Sarah were in the 1850 census for Burke County; then in 1860 were living in Fairmount, Gordon County, Georgia; in 1870 they were living in Pickens County, Georgia; in 1880 in Cross Roads, Pickens County. In the 1900 census Abner is widowed and living with his son-in-law and daughter, William and Martha Crocker in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. Abner's son Jasper L. Fisher is also in Rome, Floyd County with his wife and children. Also in the 1850 census in Burke County, NC is Hiram Fisher age 30 in household of Sarah Killian; George Fisher age 27 in household of Adeline Underwood; Isaac Fisher age 31 with wife Elizabeth and children; Thomas Fisher age 46 his wife Rachael and their children; Henry Fisher age 22 and his wife Delia and daughter; and last is George Fisher age 80 his wife Sarah age 73, daughter Sarah 25. Abner and the rest of these male listings could possible be the sons of George and Sarah. Any help appreciated.
