Hello everyone!
I've just the discovered the one and only American in my ancestry.
Richard Fisher
Parents: Edmund Fisher and Mary Robertson
Born: Abt 1836 in Calais, Maine, USA
Married: 17 May 1865 to Emma Sophia Tilley from London in Sale, Victoria, Australia
Died: (I believe) 18 Jun 1893 in Mudgee, NSW, Australia
Occupation: Labouer
Children:
- Louisa Jane Fisher
- George William Fisher
- Minnie Amelia Fisher
- Edmund Richard Fisher (died in infancy)
- Edmund Richard Fisher
- Henry Charles Fisher
I don't know what he did in America, how he got to Australia or what he did when here!
If anyone thinks that they know absolutely anything about Richard Fisher and his family I would love to hear from you and exchange info (I have a picture of his wife).
I also have no idea how to research ancestry in America so any advice would be helpful.
