Searching for descendants of Elijah Kelly, born 1823 in Brazos Co.,Texas, died 30 Jan. 1878 in Texas & Mary Ann Smothers who was born 1822 in Indiana, died after 1860 in Texas.
Elijah was the son of John Kelly b. ca 1785 PA and died ca 1848 in Austin's Colony, Texas. John married Sarah Fisher born 1787 MO and died 1852 Lavaca Co., TX.
Elijah's son John M. Kelly {1848 TX to 1926 AZ}was my gg-grandfather.
