I came across Darken's name when I was searching info on my family Coombe from Devon and Essex but I live in Norwich so was very interested. My ancestor printed a radical (revolutionary) London paper in 1839 at the start of Chartism and I noticed an outlet for this paper in Norwich was 'J Darken'- I looked him up on ancestry and saw he was a printer with his own bookshop later in life and also found him as a political activist in yarmouth collecting for a fund for the imprisoned Chartists. Also in the paper was a letter from Eliza Chapman (a possible neighbour on one census) from the newly formed Female Democratic Group. I could find out various things if you are interested from my local library which has baptism etc records.
