Hi Janelle!
James Washington Fisher, Sr. (1753-1832)was not the son of Nicholas Fisher. Nicholas Fisher's line came down to SC from Halifax Co, VA whereas James W. Fisher SR came down after the Revolutionary War from Caroline Co, MD.

Has anyone from Nicholas Fisher's line submitted DNA? We have one DNA test from the James Fisher SR line. It would be great to get more DNA testing done on the various Fisher lines to see how/if we connect somewhere down the line. Our Fisher line submitted using FamilyTreeDNA - the Great Britain Fisher's group.
