Hi Norma. Thanks for your post about Samuel Fisher. I really do not know if he is related to my family or not. My GGG Grandmother was Mary Anne (Fisher) Tanney b. 1824/6. That is all I know.I don't have any idea wher she came from or who her parents & siblings were. I keep trying every name that comes my way.
Here's all I have found on your Fisher family:
David Fisher
Mary (Duncan) Fisher
Child
Samuel Fisher b. 1845married 08-22-1883 to
Annie Horricks b. 06-23-1862
Married at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church

Daughter was Harriet W. Fisher b. 01-15-1889-d. 03-19-1968
Annie Horricks ancestors were:
William Horricks b. 04-15-1830 in Lanark
Harriet Walker b. about 1834 Parents were
Richard Walker and Agnes Smith
William Henry Horricks born in England
Christina Forsythe born in Scotland.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have other Fisher names especially an Erastus or Mary Anne.
Thanks
Fred Aldridge
