Sorry I don't have more information on JACOB or JOHN FISHER, there is more information on Fisher's in White County of which I will provide here or at a later time.
When I posted the information on GEN Forum, I also put it in Rootsweb Forum on Fayette County, Pennsylvania and I have the following two emails back:

Captain John K. Fisher
We are in receipt of a copy of Atchison Globe, of Kansas, containing an
account of the death of Captain John K. Fisher which occured March 21, 1910.
Captain Fisher and his family are remembered by some of our older readers.
He was born in Pennsylvania December 26, 1824, and was engaged in the dry
goods business in Uniontown, until the fall of 1862, when he entered the
army as captain of Company G. 16th Pennsylvania Cavalry.Among those who
entered the service with him were Major William A. West, Captain John R.
West, William A. McDowell, Henry H. Oliphant, George W. Brown,William H.
Hagans, Jeremiah B. Foulke, Sebastian Rush, W.H. Greenland, Aaron H. Gadd,
Stewart Starns, etc.Captain Fisher was wounded st Shephardstown, Va., in
February, 1863, and was disabled until December of that year.He engaged in
farming when he went to Kansas and was a member of the state senate and
internal revenue inspector for his adopted state.The deceased leaves four
children, one son and three daughters.His wife also survives him.One of
his sons and two daughters are dead.

Oliphant, March 28--John Huston Fisher, aged 77 years died Wednesday
morning, March 23, 1906 at the home of his cousin Thomas Fisher, near
Oliphant where he had lived for about six years.For the greater part of
his life he lived in Uniontown and was a son of the late Joseph Fisher a
well known blacksmith.He served in the civil war and was wounded in the
leg.He is survived by two sisters.Funeral Friday Morning at 10:30
o'clock from the home.

On page 310, Jackson Township, White County, Indiana. There is another Biographical Sketch on a D. L. FISHER, which I will type up and put in the Fisher Gen Forum later. He was the son of DAVID and SUSANNA (PEFFLER) FISHER who were both born in Virginia in 1804.

On page 82, Union Township, White County, Indiana.
