Hello. I am also searching for connections for this family. I don't have the benefit of checking a family name down the line, but I am working with the name Clara Agnes Fisher, b. Dubois County, IN about mid 1920's. I have had to check several family lines like this, that way I am sure of the documentation. I found some Dubois county pages that have free cenus images posted all the way to 1920! I found several family of Fishers and Fishchers. Basically, there are two major groups- the ones from Germany and the ones from Kentucky. There are the ones that are Catholic and some that are protestant. I have found a biography for Morgan Fisher- a male and census data for Morman and Norman-both males, also almost all the data I found for the area for the time you want is listed in DEARBORN county.I have a paid online service to check for fishers in Shelby co IN, but the WPA listings are not complete. I went to the local library history room and found a book that had all the info in it for shelby co IN, so I could check for you if you want me too. There always seems to be something missing at these online services, and it is always the names I need! I aam looking for the parents of Clara, and I found a few families for 1920 that may be hers and a couple of siblings. She is living, but has no info on her family. She is Catholic, so I am going with the Fischer family from Germany first. I have had to use this method about 6 times now, and I have solid documented records from using the Courthouse records, census images, and the books at the library. I look at the online trees for clues, and found a lot of people don't post their full trees. Good luck and hope you find your family! Joan Striegel
