Hi Tara,
Who am I? I am your 4th cousin twice removed!:).Gee that helps. Do you know the Laurie Fishburne family in Edmonton? Laurie and his family and our family (my Mom's maiden name was Fishbourne) have known each other all our lives, but strangely although we always joked about being shirt tail cousins didn't actually have proof until last summer. The confussion is because way back your family kept to the FISHBURNE spelling and mine added the "O". BTW my Mom remembers your Grandfather as a young boy, but we really knew only Laurie when I was a kid.
Where am I? This is so funny we are not that far away from each other I live on the other side of the Georgia Srait, in Victoria.

I have an extentive tree thanks to a cousin in England. If you'd like it send me your e mail address to and I'll be happy to share it with you. With a longer explanation of our connection.
