Hello Gene, through some very involved research online this weekend I discovered a very interesting thing. In our own known family tree there is a spelling discrepancy that covers about six different spellings on various documentation. They are: Fishtorn, Fishborn, Fitchorn, Fitchthorn, Fitchhorn, Fischborn. I'm still trying to figure out what spelling was current when they left PA to go west. They stopped in OH, IN, IL and NE between 1800-1900. I'd love to see what information you might have on the Fishburn's that might have migrated west. Please drop me a line and we'll compare names. jlhh@netzero.net
