Years ago my grandmother and my Mother opened a private old folks home in St-Philippe(Brownsburg-Chatham. They Kept a widowed woman Vida Fish Walker. When I was born in 1988 till the day she passed in 2003 I always called her Nanny, the best woman Ive ever met. I am in contact with her Great grand kids but we never asked her about the family. All I know is that Vida is burried in Lachute protestant cemetery. She had a brother that was killed in action James Garth Fish, in WW2 he was a Sergeant with the BlackWatch in Montreal. Her other brother was a school teacher or a Principal in a school or something I think his name is Billy Fish.. There parents were James Alexander Fish and Edith Isabelle Fish from WestMount Quebec.. Vida was married to Gavin Walker, She had one child if Im right, Joan and she married a Lortie. If anyone knows these names please contact me, I miss her so much, Now I have many un-answered questions that I wish she could answer... Much Thanks piper.currie@hotmail.com or Facebook me Jessi Currie Notify Administrator about this message?
