Portion of a long article that includes a mention of the Lily Lake Creamery in the Saint Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Review, June 1, 1878: The Lily Lake Creamery is a two-story building, 60X28 feet, and with the furniture, is owned by Switzer & Stewart. The butter room is 28x28 feet. Mr. S.N. Fish has charge of the butter making. He has had experience in cheese making and so can change work with Mr. Charlie Frink the cheesemaker.
