I am at a standstill in research with namely, William Fish b. 1751 and died 1837 in NC. I have his Will, but it does not mention his birth date. Does anyone have that? His father John Fish is an enigma. No Will is available (I have checked),cannot find a marriage mention which had to have been sometime in 1744, Edgecombe, or Bertie or Lincoln Co. No mention there either. His wife was Mary Elizabeth King. She comes from MA but I cannot find that either. The internet is full of unreliable sources. Lots and lots of information about John the father but when you rely on this source it comes up empty in his home state.
There are folks out there that are related to this Fish line and I sure would appreciate your expert advice. If you have any questions and are serious to help please respond.
