Roberta: Eaker and Ikard are two different surnames and both in Lincoln co., NC. I've spent many years trying to make people understand this. Has everyone seen the Fish family sketch in Volume II of The Shoe Cobbler's Kin, an Eaker family history, which can be found in most major libraries? Look for it.....
