I've seen this Nelson Clyde Fish as the oldest son of Wilson Fish and Melissa Longmire, but I am not convinced that he really is the Clyde Fish that my family knows about. I have a bdate in 1878.

The problem lies in that no one in my family knew anyone named Nelson, Nelson Clyde, N Clyde. They all called him Clyde. The 1895 IA Census has him as "Clide" aged 17.

If someone could provide some proof that this Nelson Clyde Fish and Clyde Fish are the same person - this would be good.
